The library, a place of knowledge has made learning effective and conducive.

Santan Dharam Vivekanand Vidyala Lakhwal has a world-class library. The library facility is at the heart of our school community. It enables, encourages and empowers teaching and learning for all members of the school community. The role of the library is to provide a dynamic and flexible space that is innovatively designed with best practices and research in mind where students can explore and use various resources in different formats. They are encouraged to grow and become passionate learners and individuals where the world of knowledge opens up to them. The available resources offer an amazing variety of learning experiences for all ages as it comes from a variety of sources, within India and abroad.

The Library provides a range of opportunities for young children to enhance their reading skills through various activities. It is a fun place where children acquire knowledge through fun.

To motivate them, ‘Reader of the Week’ and ‘Reader of the Month’ are chosen from among good readers. The state-of-the-art junior library, that houses more than 500 books catering to a variety of interests and is a haven for avid readers. The ambience, besides being child-friendly, is colourful, which instantly attracts young minds.

The library helps the children to upgrade and update their knowledge and reinforce their school learning. It keeps them abreast of the latest things in a world where old knowledge is fast getting outdated by an influx of excess information.
